Slip repair to begin May 20
BRADRICK, Ohio — A slip repair along Ohio 243 is scheduled to start May 20 at the 15-mile marker of the road between County Road 36 (McKinney Creek) and Hamlin Road about 3.5 miles west of Bradrick, according to a news release from the Ohio Department of Transportation.
During the work, traffic will be maintained in one lane with the use of temporary traffic signals, according to the release. Alan Stone Co. of Cutler, Ohio, was awarded a $209,891 contract to complete the project by early summer.
A separate repair project at the 16-mile marker of Ohio 243 currently is under way. The project located between Township Road 1182 (Fitzpatrick Road) and County Road 32 (Eaton Road) also has traffic maintained through the use of a temporary signal. That project also is set to be finished by early summer.
