'The Four Chaplains' to be honored Jan. 12
HUNTINGTON -- The Buford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will honor "The Four Chaplains" during their monthly meeting next week.
The meeting will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Cabell County Public Library in Huntington.
The program focuses on four chaplains who gave up their life jackets when their troop transport ship sank in the north Atlantic Ocean during World War II.
