College financial aid info available at several locations on Sunday
HUNTINGTON -- Information about college financial aid will be available as part of College Goal Sunday, a free program scheduled at several local locations on Sunday, Jan. 13.
Financial aid assistance will be provided for high school students, who are encouraged to attend with a parent or guardian. Students are encouraged to bring the following information: a driver's license, Social Security number, parent's Social Security number, parents and students current tax records as well as records of investment income.
The sessions will be held at the following locations: 1 to 4 p.m. at Marshall University, Marshall University Mid-Ohio Valley Center at Point Pleasant, Lincoln County High School in Hamlin, Putnam County Career and Technical College at 300 Roosevelt Blvd. in Eleanor, W.Va.; Ohio University Southern in Ironton and Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio; and from 2 to 4 p.m. at Ashland Community and Technical College.
