Storms cause some damage in western Ky.
PADUCAH, Ky. -- The National Weather Service in Paducah says it has gotten several reports of property damage from severe storms moving through far western Kentucky.
Meteorologist Robin Smith said the most severe damage reported by early Saturday evening was a brick church that was "flattened" in the Hampton community of Livingston County.
Smith said there had been several unconfirmed reports of funnel clouds in western Kentucky, and flash-flooding was widespread in the area. No injuries had been reported.
Smith said storms were expected to continue overnight.
