Blotter: Woman reports Jeep valued at $8,500 stolen

The following information was provided by the Huntington Police Department:

A 43-year-old woman reported that her 1999 Jeep Wrangler was stolen from the 1900 block of McCoy Road between 10:45 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday. The vehicle was valued at $8,500.

BREAKING AND ENTERING AUTO: A 36-year-old woman reported that a designer handbag valued at $350, a cellphone and cash totaling $614 were stolen from a vehicle in the 600 block of West 5th Street between 2 and 4 p.m. Friday.

BURGLARY: A man reported that 150 feet of electrical wire was stolen from the 1900 block of Lee Avenue between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday. The value of the material was $1,000.

BURGLARY: A 22-year-old man reported his gaming system stolen from a residence in the 1300 block of 4th Avenue at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday. It was valued at $300.

LARCENY: A 60-year-old woman reported a box of ladies' rings removed from her purse while she was in the 2900 block of 1st Avenue between 11:15 a.m. and 12:18 p.m. Sunday. The items were valued at $400.

LARCENY: A 31-year-old woman reported her cellphone stolen from the 1500 block of 4th Avenue between 1:30 and 2 a.m. Sunday. The item was valued at $350.

LARCENY: A 56-year-old man reported a custom radio-controlled car and two rifles, both broken, stolen from the 1600 block of Madison Avenue between 7 and 10 p.m. Sunday. The items were valued at $1,600.

The following information was provided by Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:

Jessica Nicole Searls, 26, was incarcerated Sunday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with felony grand larceny, along with misdemeanor leaving the scene and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Bond was $15,000.
