Baseball equipment reported stolen from Little League field
The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:
BURGLARY: An employee with the Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District reported someone forced entry into the Little League Concession stand at St. Cloud Commons in the 1900 block of Jackson Avenue sometime between Monday and Thursday and took $1,000 in baseball equipment.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: An employee at Chad Barry Law Office in the 600 block of 5th Avenue reported someone forced entry into the office sometime around 8 a.m. Thursday and took between $800 and $1,000.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: An employee with Walker Machinery reported on Thursday that someone did $4,500 in damage to the cab of an excavator that was being rented from the business between Dec. 20 and 26.
BREAKING AND ENTERING (AUTO): A 19-year-old woman reported someone forced entry into her vehicle while it was parked in the 1600 block of 6th Avenue on Thursday afternoon and took $2,700 in miscellaneous items.
BREAKING AND ENTERING (AUTO): A 59-year-old man reported someone forced entry into his home along Springdale Avenue and took a laptop worth $2,000 sometime Thursday evening.
The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:
David Allen Young, 20, was incarcerated Thursday evening. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with felony third-degree arson. Bond was $25,000.
Jacob Ryan Lewis, 22, was incarcerated Thursday evening. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, along with misdemeanor fleeing and battery on a officer. He also faces a misdemeanor charges petit larceny and conspiracy in Cabell County. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
