Presentation to be given on preventing human trafficking

HUNTINGTON -- The speaker at one local church will focus on human trafficking during a presentation this weekend.

Jo Anne Lyon will be speaking at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, at the First Wesleyan Church, located at 3135 Washington Boulevard in Huntington.

Lyon is the general superintendent of The Wesleyan Church and is also the Founder of World Hope International, a faith-based relief and development organization. In addition, she also is the co-founder with Senior Policy Advisor of US Department of State, of Faith Alliance Against Slavery and Trafficking, or FAAST.
