Feb. 08, 2013 @ 12:05 AM

HUNTINGTON -- Baked goods and books are the name of the game this weekend at the Cabell County Public Library.

Thursday marked the Tri-State Literary Council's Third Annual Bake Sale, which serves as a kickoff for the Friends of the Library Book Sale, which will continue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, and Saturday, Feb. 9, at the library.

Thursday's bake sale was sponsored by the literary council and Goodwill Industries of KYOWVA Area, Inc. The funds from the sale will help fund adult literacy programs.
