Hospital to introduce new health education series
HUNTINGTON -- Cabell Huntington Hospital will introduce its new health education series, "Talk with a Doc," from 4:30 to 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11, in the Harless Auditorium on the hospital's campus.
Physicians and health professionals will lead 15-minute presentations on health topics including Medicare preventive screenings, heart disease, cervical cancer, prostate cancer, 3D mammography and vascular screenings. Discussions will outline what screenings are needed based on age, gender and family health history. No screenings will be conducted, but hospital staff will be on-hand to schedule screenings. Refreshments will be served.
