Local church celebrates black history in annual event

Purchase this photoHUNTINGTON -- An event filled with festivities, faith and tradition took over Calvary Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday afternoon.
The church hosted its annual Celebration of Black History Month with a traditional brunch and an African American style fashion show featuring members of the church.
Calvary Missionary Baptist Church is located at 915 8th Avenue, and Rev. Franklin L. Murphy Sr. is the pastor of the church.
