Man reports $2,000 in items stolen from his car parked on 4th Avenue
HUNTINGTON -- The following information was provided by the Huntington Police Department:
A 27-year-old man reported that his vehicle was burglarized while it was parked in the 1100 block of 4th Avenue between midnight and 9 a.m. Sunday. Items reported stolen included a snowboard, snow boots, helmet, GPS unit and motorcycle jacket. The value of the items was assessed at about $2,000.
BURGLARY: A 63-year-old man reported that between $800 and $1,000 and a safe were stolen from his residence in the 200 block of Bridge Street. The incident occurred between 1 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, and 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A 63-year-old man reported that the driver's door of his Honda Accord was damaged while parked in the 800 block of 4th Street. Damages were estimated at $300. The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18.
GRAND LARCENY: A 26-year-old man reported a set of wheels and tires stolen from the 300 block of 32nd Street Rear between 1 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Friday. Items were valued at $1,810.
BURGLARY: An employee at Bailey Stone and Marble, 1535 Washington Ave., reported that the business was burglarized between 9 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. Saturday. Among the items reported stolen were two computers, a camera and a surveillance system. Items were valued at $700. Damage to a door was assessed at $500.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: An employee at Mojo Computers, 1404 Adams Ave., reported that the door to the business was damaged between 6 p.m. Friday and 9:45 a.m. Saturday. Damages were estimated at $350. Nothing was reported missing, according to the report.
BREAKING AND ENTERING AUTO: A 23-year-old man reported two guns and an iPod stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the 600 block of 17th Street between 3:30 and 10 a.m. Saturday. Items were valued at $600.
STOLEN AUTO: A 19-year-old woman reported her 2000 Jeep Cherokee valued at $1,500 stolen from her residence in the 2900 block of Piedmont Road between 12:45 and 1:30 p.m. Saturday. An iPhone in the vehicle was valued at $100. Police have a suspect.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A 34-year-old man reported the hood and windshield of his vehicle were damaged while it was parked in the 300 block of Prospect Street at about 12:05 a.m. Sunday. Damages were estimated at $500.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A 42-year-old man reported that a hole was cut in the gas tank of his vehicle and the gas drained while the vehicle was parked in the 1300 block of Jackson Avenue. The incident occurred between 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday. Damages were estimated at $550.
LARCENY: A 24-year-old woman reported that $900 cash was stolen from her purse while visiting a relative's house on Adams Avenue. The incident occurred between 3 and 4 p.m. Sunday. Police have a suspect.
The following information was provided by Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:
Terry Wayne Clay, 42, was incarcerated at 1 a.m. Monday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with felony burglary, two counts of providing false information to law enforcement, trespassing, possession of a controlled substance and destruction of property. Bond was set at $10,000.
Jonathan Wayne Eatmon, 41, was incarcerated at 2:35 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Mason County jailed him on a felony capias charge. Bond was denied.
Ashley Nicole Miller, 22, was incarcerated at 3:15 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with assault during the commission of a felony and attempt to commit a felony. Bond was set at $20,000.
