Realtors Peeps Run set for March 23

HUNTINGTON -- The Huntington Board of Realtors is hosting a Peeps Run Saturday, March 23, to raise money for the Hoops Family Children's Hospital at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

The 5K run/walk will include activities for children as well as shorter children's run. There will also be a visit from the Easter Bunny, who will have candy. There will also be drawings for prizes.

"The sponsorships and in-kind donations are coming from all over the community," board Chair David Roof said in a release. "It's a classic example of people joining together for a project that will benefit all of us today and many future generations to come."

Registration for the race begins at 9 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 10 a.m. Awards for the top finishers in each age division will be awarded. Dry-Fit shirts commemorating the event will go to all early registrants.
