January 07, 2013 @ 06:03 PM

HUNTINGTON — The owner of the ALLINONE convenience store, described by prosecutors as the “epicenter for fraudulent acts,” will serve six months in prison followed by six months of home confinement and three years of supervised release, according to a sentence handed down Monday by U.S. District Judge Robert C. Chambers.

Abderahmane Eloirzazi pleaded guilty in September to charges that his business, formerly located at 1954 9th Ave. and demolished in December, defrauded the nation’s food stamp program of more than $120,000 from June 2010 to February 2012.

In announcing sentencing, Chambers also ordered Eloirzazi to pay restitution of $127,000 to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
