Popular Louisville restaurant abruptly closes
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A well-known Louisville restaurant has abruptly closed its doors after 22 years in business.
Louisville media reported Lynn’s Paradise Cafe closed Friday in the wake a dispute over new policies that some workers claimed amounted to mistreatment.
In a statement on Saturday, owner Lynn Winter confirmed the closing, saying it was time to move on.
The restaurant’s chief operating officer, Patty Schnatter, issued a statement saying that the controversy arose from “personnel matters that we cannot and will not discuss publicly.”
The restaurant has been featured in national media and was often listed in tourism articles about Louisville. Aside from its food, the restaurant was known for being adorned with bright, quirky decorations on the inside and out
