Man arrested in child porn investigation

HUNTINGTON — Explicit chatting via the Internet led to a local man’s arrest late Sunday in Huntington, according to a press release issued by the Huntington Police Department.
Officers arrested Raymond Eugene Leake, 34. He was charged with four counts possession of a child pornography, the release states. Those charges were based upon a search warrant executed in the 1000 block of Monroe Avenue in Huntington.
The search and subsequent arrest stemmed from one man’s sexually explicit Internet chat with an undercover agent from another state. Police were concerned the chat had described sexually explicit activities performed on a child.
The Huntington Police Department executed the search warrant at 6:40 p.m. Sunday in cooperation with the FBI, Huntington Violent Crime Drug Task Force, the state Cyber Crimes Task Force and the state’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
