Armed robbery reported in Huntington
Huntington Police have released this image of a man who they believe robbed the Gold Silver Exchange at 2565 5th Ave., in Huntington, around 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013.
HUNTINGTON — Huntington police are investigating an armed robbery reported at a drive-through gold and silver exchange business in the 2500 block of 5th Avenue Friday morning.
The incident was first reported at approximately 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gold Silver Exchange at 2565 5th Ave., according to Huntington Police Detective Ryan Bentley.
A man approached the buiilding presenting himself as someone interested in pawning jewelry, then brandished a handgun and demanded money. The man fled on foot.
