Boggess named interim Concord U. president
ATHENS, W.Va. (AP) — Kendra Boggess has been named interim president of Concord University.
Concord’s Board of Governors appointed Boggess to the position Thursday. The board plans to discuss the search process for a new president on May 11.
President Gregory Aloia announced in April that he was resigning after he was named president of the College of Coastal George in Brunswick, Ga. He will begin that job July 1.
Boggess currently is interim vice president and academic dean. Her appointment as interim president must be approved by the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission.
