IT'S STRAWBERRY PIE TIME AT JIM'S: While Jim’s Steak & Spaghetti House is always a Huntington favorite, the line to get in at 11 a.m. and the phone ringing off the hook suggest that this week is a special one. It’s Strawberry Pie Week. For those unfamiliar with the phrase, it’s the only week of the year that Jim’s makes and sells its freshly made strawberry pie. Simply put, it’s a “Huntington happening,” said Jimmie Carder, general manager of the restaurant , which was founded 75 years ago by her father, the late Jim Tweel. Read more on our Community page.
