Two charged with local burglary

November 01, 2012 @ 12:00 AM

HUNTINGTON — Two men were arrested Tuesday and charged with breaking into a house along North Inwood Drive.

Court documents identify the suspects as Josiah Eddy, 25, and Christopher Ray, 21, both of Huntington. Both were charged with felony burglary and jailed with individual bonds of $50,000.

Both remained behind bars late Wednesday afternoon.

Criminal complaints charge both men forcibly entered a house in the 500 block of North Inwood Drive. They were captured as the Huntington Police Department responded to a suspicious person call about 2:22 p.m.

Police spotted one man in the house and entered after watching him abruptly run from the officer. Both suspects were found laying on the bedroom floor, according to the complaints.

Huntington Police Lt. John Ellis said the incident could lead to police solving other burglaries.
