OLBH to sponsor food drive Nov. 12-18

RUSSELL, Ky. -- Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital is one of the sponsors for the Filled with Hope food drive taking place Nov. 12-18 in conjunction with National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.

The primary drop-off points for food collection are Helping Hands Inc., 412 Main St., Greenup, Ky., and the Greenup County Board of Education, 45 Musketeer Drive, Greenup, Ky. Area businesses will also organize their own collection drives in conjunction with the campaign.

Food collected during the drive will be donated to Helping Hands of Greenup as well as Greenup County School's Brown Bag Project.

Christian bands playing free concert at Marshall

HUNTINGTON -- Two up-and-coming Christian artists will play a free concert in the Don Morris Room of the Memorial Student Center at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.

The show, sponsored by Campus Crusade for Christ, will feature Anthem Lights, Anthony Mossburg and a campus ministry band. A love offering will collected during intermission to benefit the A21 campaign, which is an organization that works to end human trafficking.

Anthem Lights performed in Huntington back in March as one of the opening bands for Newsboys. And Anthony Mossburg has shared the stage with Rush of Fools and Aaron Shust.
