WILLIS M. ELKINS, 67, of Chapmanville, W.Va., husband of Judy Dotson Elkins, died March 23 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington. He served in the U.S. Army and was formerly the nursing home administrator at Logan Park Care Center before retiring from The Heritage. RAY MELVIN EVANS SR., 68, of Huntington, husband of Virginia Evans, died March 24 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was a locomotive painter with CXS Railway. LAWRENCE HENSLEY JR., 78, of Versailles, Ky., formerly of Ashland, husband of Berta Davis VanHoose Hensley, died March 23 at Hospice of the Bluegrass Care Center, Lexington. He retired from Federal Correctional Institution in Summit, Ky., and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Funeral service 1 p.m. Tuesday at Steen Funeral Home, 13th Street Chapel.
