Manchin plans ’Commonsense Solutions’ tour
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin plans to visit three universities and meet with veterans and community leaders across West Virginia this week.
Manchin’s office says the West Virginia Democrat will kick off his “Commonsense Solutions” tour Monday in Charleston. He’s scheduled to speak during a United Mine Workers rally.
Manchin also plans to visit Concord University on Monday. He’ll visit Marshall University on Tuesdsay and West Virginia University at Parkersburg on Wednesday.
Other stops include Point Pleasant on Tuesday, Charleston on Wednesday, and Morgantown on Thursday.
