Betty Booth, 63, of West Logan, W.Va., life partner of James McDonald, died Sept. 28 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. At her request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Chapmanville, W.Va.

Funeral services for Garen Douglas Carter, 78, of Ashland, husband of Mary Ann Carter, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Carman Funeral Home, Flatwoods, Ky.; burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Northeast, Greenup County, Ky. Nancy H. Davis, 83 of Calhoun, Ga., formerly of Huntington, W.Va., died Sept. 29 in Morning Pointe Assisted Living, Calhoun. SYLVIA MOORE LAWSON, 86, of Hi Hat, Ky., widow of Leroy Lawson, died Sept. 30 in Pikeville (Ky.) Medical Center. She was a homemaker.
