Herman's Hermits, Gary Puckett coming to Keith-Albee

HUNTINGTON — Classic rock band Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone with special guest Gary Puckett are coming to the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center, according to release issued Thursday.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2 and will feature Noone, who is commonly considered “Herman” from the 1960s-era rock band. Some of the band’s hits include “I’m Into Something Good,” “There’s a Kind of Hush” and “I’m Henry the VIII, I Am.”  They charted six Top 20 hits each in the years 1965 and 1966, according to the release.

Gary Puckett, along with his pop band, the Union Gap, had a series of hits including "Young Girl,” "Woman Woman," "Lady Willpower," "Over You," "This Girl is a Woman Now.” They had six consecutive gold records and top 10 Billboard hits, according to the release.

Tickets go on sale for $29.75, $39.75, and $75 on 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. Tickets will be available at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, www.ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 800-745-3000.
