Loretta reschedules this week's Paramount concert for late February
ASHLAND — Kentucky native country legend Loretta Lynn has postponed her first two dates of 2012, one of those was scheduled to be at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland.
According to her official website, the Johnson County, Ky., native who is 76, is postponing her Jan. 7-8 concert dates at the Paramount as well as a show the following night in Durham, N.C.
The Paramount concert has been rescheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25.
Lynn is recovering from a knee surgery. Tickets purchased for the Jan. 7 performance will be honored for the new date. For more information call the box office at 606.324.3175.
Lynn’s original Paramount Kentucky Music Trail concert series date of Oct. 22 was postponed in the fall after she had a bout with pneumonia following her knee surgery.
Lynn, who was nominated for a CMA in the fall for her special concert event with Miranda Lambert, Sheryl Crow and others honoring her 50 years in the music business, was hospitalized three times in 2011.
