Dog swim planned at Dreamland

Aug. 07, 2014 @ 01:29 PM

KENOVA, W.Va. — Dogs can take a dive into Dreamland Pool this Sunday to benefit the Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter.

The pool will be open to dogs from 4 to 7 p.m. for a “Swim with your Dog” event on the last day of the summer season, according to a release.

The cost is $5 per dog. Without a dog, attendees will be asked for a voluntary donation with all proceeds going toward the animal shelter.

All dog-friendly dogs are welcome at the pool. Bring a leash, towels and toys or balls.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
