HUNTINGTON — The Huntington-Cabell Branch of the NAACP and the Huntington Black Pastors Ministerial Alliance will host an open forum on racial profiling and other issues from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11.
The forum will be in the Douglass Centre Auditorium, 1448 10th Ave. in Huntington. Doors will be open at 6 p.m. to allow distribution and collection of questions written by the audience.
The format for the forum is to provide information and explanation, not to debate, according to a press release from the local NAACP. Panelists include Huntington Mayor Kim Wolfe, Huntington Police Chief Skip Holbrook, Cabell County Sheriff Tom McComas, a representative from the West Virginia American Civil Liberties Union and a deputy attorney general for the state.
