Senior center’s dance rescheduled for Friday
HUNTINGTON -- The Underwood Senior Center has rescheduled its Valentine Dance/Local Celebrity Auction for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12. It was originally planned for Tuesday.
The auction will include a chance to dance with Mayor Kim Wolfe; Commissioners Bob Bailey and Scott Bias; Assistant County Manager Chris Tatum; WOWK reporter Dee Delancey; David Pittinger, dean of the College of Liberal Arts of Marshall University; Marshall women's basketball coach Royce Chadwick and one of his players. Rick Ruggles will serve as deejay and Edna Booten as auctioneer.
The event is $5 per person, $4 if the person is wearing red. Refreshments will be provided.
The center is located at 632 9th Ave. in Huntington.
