Demand for Figure Drawing Class leads to a mid week class
HUNTINGTON — Demand for the Figure Drawing Class at The Renaissance Art Gallery is leading to a mid-week class.
When the first Figure Drawing class started up in January, Bruce Bowersock, instructor at The Renaissance Gallery, never believed so many students would sign up. The Exhibition hall only holds so many students comfortably, and it’s full. There were so many calls to request this class that Renaissance has determined having one mid-week is not a bad idea.
Bowersock will begin a new class on Tuesday evenings from 6-9 p.m. for 8 weeks from Feb. 23 through April 13 (skipping Spring Break week).
Cost is $120 per student plus class members share in the cost to the model (anything from $5-$7 per week). Interested persons should call 304-743-6035.
The Renaissance Art Gallery is located at 900 8th Street, Suite #20, Huntington.

Gallery hours are: noon to 4 p.m. Friday & Saturday; 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Studio hours are 10 a.m. to noon Monday, 1 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
