Sunday expected to be wet and mild
HUNTINGTON -- Look for showers and mild temperatures Sunday in the Tri-State.
The National Weather Service is calling for an 80 percent chance of precipitation with between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. The high should be around 64 and the overnight low Sunday night about 55.
Here's a look at the week ahead:
Monday: Showers before 10am, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 10am and 4pm, then showers after 4pm. High near 55. Southwest wind 8 to 13 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Monday Night: Rain showers likely before 3am, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Cloudy, with a low around 32. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 40.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 23.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 46.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 54.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 28.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35.
Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 56.
