Hamfest and computer show set for Field House
HUNTINGTON -- The Tri-State Amateur Radio Association will sponsor the annual Hamfest and Computer Show is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at Veterans Memorial Field House, 2590 5th Ave.
The event will include exams for amateur radio license from the Federal Communications Commission. Applicants for the test must be at the Field House no later than 10:30 a.m. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. The cost is $15 per test.
The computer show includes a flea market of radio equipment.
Admission will be $6.
