The year’s lowest average price for a gallon of self serve regular was recorded on Jan. 1 at $1.62. The highest was $2.695 on Oct. 30.
As of Monday, the national average retail price for a gallon of self serve regular was $2.603. The West Virginia average was $2.662. In Huntington, the average price was $2.613, one of the lowest averages in the state.
