Writers showcase series planned
HUNTINGTON — Arts Resources for the Tri-State is hosting its first Writers Showcase, a new series that will highlight the region’s writers.
The first Writers Showcase is set for Sunday, Feb. 28, at the ARTS Renaissance Ballroom, 900 8th St., Huntington, (inside the old Huntington High School) and will include original material from any performing arts category. The showcase would include 15 to 20 minutes each for three or four artists’ works to be presented.
The showcase will feature a dinner and show format. The other shows are scheduled for: April 25, Aug. 29, and final show of the year on Nov. 7. The last show will feature the best artists from the first three shows.
