Blotter: Man charged with making terroristic threats at Mission
The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:
TERRORISTIC THREATS: Lee A. Riley, 47, who was listed as homeless in the police report, was charged with felony terroristic threats and felony possession of a concealed deadly weapon Monday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of 7th Avenue on Monday for a report of terroristic threats. Once on the scene, a witness told officers a man threatened to firebomb the Huntington City Mission if "anybody threw another shampoo bottle at him."
Officers took the man into custody, and they discovered a firearm in his possession during a routine search.
BURGLARY: A 28-year-old man reported he was out of town between Saturday and Monday, and when he returned to his apartment in the 900 block of 12th Avenue, he discovered someone had taken $1,900 in electronics.
The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:
Frank Basenback, 25, was incarcerated at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with six felony counts of fraudulent use of an ATM card. Bond was $20,000.
