W.Va. seeks new owner for closed aluminum plant

March 11, 2010 @ 08:15 AM

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (AP) —State development officials are looking for a new owner to take over an aluminum fabricating plant in Harrison County that closed last year.

West Virginia Economic Development Authority executive director David Warner says the agency and a company have been in discussions for a few weeks. He would not identify the company.

Harrison County Commissioner Ron Watson says about 100 jobs were lost when the former Precision Coil plant closed.
