Woman reports television stolen valued at $2,500

The following information was provided by the Kenova Police Department:

A 26-year-old woman reported that a television she valued at $2,500 was stolen from her residence in the 2100 block of Sycamore Street. The incident occurred on Friday, June 7. Police later arrested a suspect.

LARCENY: An 81-year-old woman reported a DVD player and surround sound system stolen from her residence in the 1000 block of Walnut Street between 2 and 9 p.m. Tuesday. The items were valued at $400. Police have a suspect.

LARCENY: An 18-year-old man reported a gaming system and accessories were stolen from his residence in the 1600 block of Chestnut Street between June 5 and June 7. Items were valued at $300.

STOLEN PHONE: A 28-year-old man reported his cellphone stolen from the 1900 block of Chestnut Street on June 5-6. The phone was valued at $600.

LARCENY: A 59-year-old man reported $700 worth of tools stolen from his residence in the 500 block of 10th Street. The incident occurred between midnight and 9 a.m. on June 6.
