Company reports stolen fencing found at recycling business
The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:
BREAKING AND ENTERING: An employee with McNeil Fencing in the 4200 block of Waverly Road reported someone took $920 in aluminum fencing from the business' property sometime between June 14 and 18. The employee said he located the fencing at a local recycling business, but he was told he would have to file a police report to retrieve it.
DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED OR REVOKED LICENSE: Brian Steven Poliwo, 44, of Barboursville, was charged with felony driving with a suspended or revoked license, third offense, and misdemeanor soliciting prostitution earlier this week.
Members of the department's Special Emphasis Unit were conducting undercover operations in the 600 block of 4th Avenue on Wednesday night when a man approached an undercover officer and agreed to pay her cash in exchange for sex acts.
A background check revealed the man had a revoked license for multiple driving under the influence convictions.
MALICIOUS WOUNDING: Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of 4th Avenue for a report of a fight at 3:14 a.m. Thursday. At least one person received lacerations on his torso, but no additional information was available at the time of the report.
STOLEN VEHICLE: An employee of the U-Haul store in the 1500 block of 9th Avenue reported someone took a van, worth $7,000, and a trailer, worth $2,500, from the business' property sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Mary Francis Reynolds, 42, of Huntington, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver earlier this week.
An undercover officer on patrol in the 1300 block of 12th Street on Tuesday evening approached a suspicious person, and a background check revealed a warrant for felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver on file.
The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:
Melinda Jo Waugh, 42, was incarcerated at 4:40 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with felony grand larceny. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
Etassa Ann Jarrell, 35, was incarcerated at 3:25 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with felony operating/attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
Richard Shannon Carr, 39, was incarcerated at 3:25 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with felony operating/attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
