Authors to appear at West Virginia Book Festival in Charleston

CHARLESTON -- Five authors from publisher Lucky Press, LLC, will be at the West Virginia Book Festival, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 16 and 17, at the Charleston Civic Center.

Among those scheduled to attend is Huntington resident Mary Calhoun Brown, author of "There Are No Words." Brown will be available from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday and 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday.

"There Are No Words" has received a number of awards, including the 2010 Moonbeam Children's Book Awards Medalist; an International Book Award Winner; Eric Hoffer Award Winner; Parent-Tested, Parent-Approved Award Winner; Outstanding Book for Young People with Disabilities by IBBY; Nashville Book Festival Award Winner; Hollywood Book Festival Award Winner; nominated for Autism Society's Outstanding Literary Work of the Year; and also is up for a Mom's Choice Award.
