Mountwest Foundation elects five new officers, members
HUNTINGTON -- The Mountwest Foundation recently elected five new members and officers for its Board of Directors.
New members are Mitch Farrar of Huntington; Vicki Marshall of Huntington; Tony Martin of Huntington; Sue Richardson of Proctorville; and Tim Roberts of Barboursville.
Here is some information about each of the members:
Mitch Farrar is a vice-president at BB&T where he is a business services officer.
Vicki Marshall is president & CEO of VDM Management Group of companies. She is the local franchise owner of Little Caesar's Pizza.
Commodore Tony Martin is corporate operations manager for State Electric Supply Company.
Sue Richardson is a retired CPA from Somerville & Company. She has served as an ex-officio member of the Foundation board since 2009 in her previous role as chair of the Institutional Board of Governors.
Tim Roberts is operations managers for Alcon Laboratories.
The new members were elected to three-year terms that began on July 1. Members are expected to help with the Foundation's mission to provide financial support for Mountwest Community & Technical College.
Jason Moses, executive manager of Moses AutoMall of Huntington, also joined the board as an ex-officio member and chair of the Institutional Board of Governors.
The Foundation elected the following members to serve as officers for two-year term: President Bob Childers of Structures Resources; Vice President Jeff Faucette of Merrill Lynch; Secretary Mike Emerson of Huntington Steel & Supply Co.; and Treasurer Sue Richardson. The Foundation has a total of 14 board members.
