FUNCTION: The Chamber is a non-profit association of business and professional people working together to make the Cabell and Wayne county area a better place to live and do business. The Chamber promotes area member businesses, works on community and regional issues, and advocates for business on governmental and legislative issues. Huntington Area Development Council
LEADERSHIP: President Marc Sprouse
FUNCTION: The mission of the Huntington Area Development Council is to attract new employers to Cabell and Wayne Counties, West Virginia, to retain existing employers, and to help all employers expand their businesses. HADCO is a nonprofit, public-private partnership. HADCO also develops and manages business parks and industrial buildings, and also acts as a broker for State, federal and local financing, and job training loans and grants to assist new and expanding businesses.

Huntington Municipal Development Authority
LEADERSHIP: Executive Director Bill Toney
FUNCTION: The Huntington Municipal Development Authority was established in 1984 to spur economic development in Huntington and obtain financing for promising projects. Through marketing, support and grant management, HMDA helps bring new businesses and business opportunities to Huntington. HMDA oversees the Kinetic Park project.

Putnam County Development Authority, Inc.

Advantage Valley, Inc.
FUNCTION: Advantage Valley is a confederation of counties, cities, towns, chambers of commerce and economic development organizations working together for the economic development of the region.
