Marshall University will host two commencement exercises this year, one for associate and bachelor's degree candidates and another for master's and doctoral degree candidates.

Both will be Saturday, May 11, at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington.

Associate and bachelor's degree candidates will graduate in a ceremony beginning at 9 a.m., while master's and doctoral degree candidates will be honored in a ceremony at 2 p.m.

Tentative May graduates who did not attend last week's Countdown to Commencement are encouraged to contact the Registrar's Office at 304-696-6410 to confirm commencement participation, receive commencement instructions, receive recognition cords for military service or ROTC, and bachelor and associate degree honor graduates may pick up honor cords and tassels.

The Marshall University Bookstore also can measure students for the purchase of their caps and gowns, along with other personalized graduation items.

Other offices of importance include Career Services, Graduate College, Office of the Bursar, Financial Aid and Alumni Relations.
