Jazz-MU-Tazz festival under way
HUNTINGTON -- Marshall University's summer jazz festival, "Jazz-MU-Tazz," got under way this week and will continue through Saturday.
The annual event features the Marshall faculty combo Bluetrane and guest artist Dr. Toby Curtright. Collegiate and high school students will participate in the Jazz-MU-Tazz Festival Big Bands. There will be classes in jazz performance, improvisation and others.
Most of the music will take place at the Jomie Jazz Center.
