MU student, faculty musicians take to the stage

Dec. 02, 2012 @ 12:00 AM

HUNTINGTON -- When it comes to putting on a show, the music department of Marshall University's College of Fine Arts isn't skimping on quality or quantity.

A Chamber Music Concert at Smith Recital Hall on campus was the latest in a series of concerts featuring students and faculty together, and it certainly won't be the last.

While the upcoming concerts are a blend of student recitals and holiday events, Wednesday's event featured Anyango Yarbo-Davenport, an instructor of violin, viola and chamber music at Marshall, with Adam Cordle, who also teaches violin, viola and chamber music at several schools including Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and Mount St. Mary's University.

They were joined by students of the Chamber Music and String Ensemble Class at Marshall.
