Horseshoe Leadership seeks summer employees
PARSONS, W.Va. -- The Horseshoe Leadership Center in Parsons, W.Va., is seeking college students interested in summer work.
"We're looking for college-age students who want to use their skills, energy and passion for shaping a better world by influencing today's teens and children," said David Cooper, director of the center, in a news release.
The students will serve as summer camp counselors for the teen civic leadership and entrepreneurship camps, adventure camp (for ages 7 to 12) and youth opportunity camps (for low-income boys and girls).
Summer positions provide a living allowance, an AmeriCorps Education Award to eligible summer camp counselors, meals and lodging.
