MARSHALL UNIVERSITY
MU Choral Union seeking members
HUNTINGTON -- The Marshall University Choral Union is still seeking membership for the spring semester.
The program includes Morten Lauridsen's "Sure On This Shining Night," Britten's "Festival Te Deum" and a set of six pieces by Edward Elgar entitled "From the Bavarian Highlands."
Rehearsals are 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays in the Choir Room of Smith Hall (Room 150). The performance will take place at 3 p.m. April 14, in Smith Recital Hall.
The MU Choral Union is an ensemble that performs choral masterworks. It is directed by Marshall graduate William Murphy. Anyone is welcome to participate.
