HUNTINGTON -- The Marshall University Recreation Center will have its sixth annual Rec Fest from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23.

"Lance" Atkins, founder of Atkins Engineers in Palmetto Bay, Fla., and a 1970 graduate of Marshall University, has made a three-year pledge of a gift toward the purchase of equipment for the Arthur Weisberg Family Applied Engineering Complex, currently under construction on campus.
