HUNTINGTON -- The Marshall Artists Series capped off the the 2007-08 schedule last week with one of the most colorful productions of the season.
The national tour of "Hairspray" performed in front of a packed Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center on Wednesday.
The Tony Award-winning musical-comedy based on the cult-classic film written by John Waters follows 16-year-old Tracy Turnblad in Baltimore in 1962, a big girl with big hair and dreams who tries to dance her way onto TV's most popular show. The musical won eight Tony Awards in 2003.
