Grand jury indicts 11 people

CATLETTSBURG, Ky. -- A Boyd County grand jury returned 11 indictments Tuesday, according to the office of Commonwealth's Attorney David Justice.

Gregory S. Evans, 30, of Catlettsburg was indicted on charges of receiving stolen property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and being a persistent felony offender.

Ronnie Cole Jr., 27, of Morehead, Ky., was indicted on charges of theft and being a persistent felony offender.

Dustin A. Simmons, 35, of Morehead was indicted on charges of flagrant non-support and being a persistent felony offender.

Danyetta D. Orndorff, 39, of Ashland was indicted on charges of unlawful transaction with a minor, endangering the welfare of a minor, custodial interference and intimidating a participant in a legal process.

John Spillman, 29, of Catlettsburg was indicted on a charge of second-degree burglary.

Darrah L. Rose, 25, of Greenup, Ky., was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property.

Carolyn Perkins, 38, of Ashland was indicted on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Brandon A. Young, 29, of Catlettsburg was indicted on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Mitchell R. Grohoski, 60, of West Alexander, Pa., was indicted on a charge of flagrant non-support.

James R. Smith, 34, of Mayfield, Ky., was indicted on a charge of flagrant non-support.

Joshua T. Diamond, Ashland was indicted on a charge of criminal mischief.

An indictment is a formal charge made against a person by a grand jury. It does not establish guilt or innocence.
