Brooke Cromley Price to perform at CUMC

CHESAPEAKE -- Brooke Cromley Price will be in concert at Chesapeake United Methodist church at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25.

Price is a graduate of Liberty University with her bachelor's degree in worship and music ministry.

She gives voice lessons and leads worship at her church. She has performed before several Governors of the State of West Virginia, State Senate, and has sung the National Anthem before several sporting events, including the Cincinnati Red's baseball games as well as opening for Dove Award Winning Female Artist of the Year, Natalie Grant. Price lives in Gallipolis, Ohio, with her husband David, daughter Raegan and son Rylan.

There is no admission charge for the Sunday performance. A freewill offering will be received for Price's ministry. Chesapeake United Methodist Church is located at 501 2nd Ave. in Chesapeake. For more information, call 740-867-3848.

Nazarene Thanksgiving Service set for Nov. 22

SOUTH POINT -- South Point Church of the Nazarene, 401 Solida Road, invites the community to its annual Community Thanksgiving Service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22.

This service is a time for the Community to come together and celebrate our thankfulness to God. There will be congregational singing, a community choir and a message from the host Pastor, Charles Lane.

There will also be opportunity to give to the South Point Ministers Association which helps those in need in the area throughout the year.

Faith Baptist Chapel announces schedule

PROCTORVILLE -- Faith Baptist Chapel, a new Southern Baptist Mission at 704 Trent St. (beside the BMV building), in Proctorville, welcomes community members to worship.

Service times are worship at 10 a.m. Sundays, and Sunday School classes at 6:30 p.m. Sundays. Bible Study and children's classes meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

SOUTH POINT -- The First Southern Baptist Church of South Point invites everyone to come and worship.
