Man arrested on breaking, entering charge
IRONTON -- The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff's Department reports:
BREAKING AND ENTERING: Sheriff's deputies last week arrested Phillip A. Dingess, 32, of County Road 1, South Point, on a charge of breaking and entering.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: A 59-year-old Proctorville area woman reported last week that someone broke into a storage unit and stole fishing equipment, tools, blankets and jewelry. The items were valued at $9,310.
THEFT: A Pedro area woman reported last week that someone used her debit card in York, Pa., to run up $1,264 on her account.
BURGLARY: A 59-year-old Proctorville area man reported last week that someone stole items, including Christmas decorations, valued at $25,000 in Rome Township.
BURGLARY: A 39-year-old South Point area man reported last week that someone stole a laptop computer from a residence in Fayette Township.
BURGLARY: A 43-year-old Pedro area woman reported earlier this month that someone entered her residence in Upper Township and stole some food and some prescription pain medication.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: A 50-year-old South Point area man reported earlier this month that someone stole tools and a lawn trimmer from his garage in Perry Township. The items were valued at $1,128.
THEFT: A 27-year-old South Point area woman reported that her vehicle valued at $2,800 was stolen.
